When I said a variety of browsers, I wasn't joking. This has never been, and will never be, a browser-specific site. But to ensure browser-independence requires testing, and this is the collection of browsers I use at the moment:

Browsers marked * are JavaScript capable - ignoring the differences between JavaScript 1.0 and 1.1, interpreter implementations still vary somewhat from browser to browser and even between the same browser version on different platforms. Whilst testing the HTML side of the site is relatively simple (and tools like SGMLS help greatly), testing the JavaScript is much more involved. And whereas HTML errors can often pass by unnoticed, it's rare for a JavaScript error to be benign, so bug hunting is particularly important...
