BROTHER CRASHES SPICE GIRL'S MERCEDES
The brother of Spice Girl Mel C is recovering from crashing
her sporty new £35,000 Mercedes.
Paul O'Neill, 17, wrapped the car round a lamppost - before
his sister had even had the chance to drive it.
Paul's mother, Joan O'Neill, said: "He's in bed recuperating.
He's just tired and worn out after what happened."
The car was a present to Sporty Spice from Mercedes after
the group helped it launch the new McLaren Formula 1.

Tut tut. Of all the things you can do with a car, driving it
into a lamppost is quite high on the list of "you didn't want to
do that" options.
And I'm not sure I'd like to be the one to tell Melanie - "Umm, Melanie,
you know that shiny Mercedes you've only just learned to drive.
Well, it's got a bit of a dint..." Could be worse I suppose,
Paul could have borrowed it without asking first - you did
ask sis if you could borrow her car, didn't you? OK, it isn't a
Micra, but even so...
Not sure about the "before his sister had even had the chance" bit
though...
That's Melanie, that's a Mercedes, and she's in the driving seat. Maybe
they just meant she hasn't driven it since passing her test.
