From someone who's forgotten to say who they are, how old they are, or where they live (though this much we can guess based on the location of the concert :-), comes this review.
I know you get a lot of these concert reviews, but I have to get this out
of my system for I have been holding it for two months. I went to the
concert on August 13 at Shoreline Amphitheather. This may be too old, but
just experiencing the fact that I finally got the chance to see them live,
rather than on a television screen is just a pretty cool thought.

The excitement didn't really hit me till the day it actually happened. I
had a choice of going to a friend's birthday party that i keep missing
every year, or the greatest concert alive....tough choice. Yeah right. I
live and breathe the spice girls ecspecially Mel C. And plus this was a
birthday present to my best friend, who hated the spice girls at first,
but i got her hooked in so bad.

Finally, the day past by and it was 5:30 pm...but I wasn't dressed yet! My
mom finally came home from work, and i ran up stairs and changed so quickly
that she barely got a chance to get into the house before I started rushing
her to go. So we finally left, off to pick up my best friend. We were both
excited, but we still even to this day, can't believe they came to our
city. Our city, OURS! (hey as soon as I found out they released their
schedual for the American Tour, I rushed online to find the my city, and
bingo there it was!) Getting the tickets was something out of pure luck,
but all i could think at that time was..."I'm gonna get those tickets, and
I'm gonna see Mel C live no matter what." The concert sold out it half an
hour tops, i say about fifteen mins. to twenty mins. EVERYBODY wanted
tickets, but then again who can blame them. I'm proud of the spice girls,
for they sold out a 26,000 crowd concert in twenty mins flat.

Back to the concert day. We finally arrive and pick up my friend and off
we go. Then what happens? Traffic, what a pain. Another concert, Janet
Jackson was schedualed for the same day. Poor Janet, making the mistake of
setting the same date with the spice girls, for i heard her concert was
only two thirds filled. My mom being a hasty driver, almost got us in a
accident TWICE!!! Sheesh, crazy driver. Anyways we finally get to our
destination. Limos, everyone dressed up, everything, that it made my
friend and I feel like...outsiders....but who cares we were gonna see the
spice girls LIVE!

My friend rush to get the shirts, while i just stood there looking around
and seeing so many people dressed up as their favorite spice. Me, i
dressed myself, but through my head all i could think is "mel c, mel c,
mel c, mel c." I heard really good concert reviews of them, so i was
completely excited.

Finally find our seats, but the concert hasnt started until 8:15pm, when
they said 7:30. Boy was the crowd really anxious to see them, but then
again so were we. ALL the radio stations were there to get some listeners
to their station, but hey if you dont play the spice girls, we arent
interested. So the concert starts off with a lil mini movie, and then BAM,
the space ship arrives, and the excitement begins.

"If you cant dance, if you cant dance, if you cant dance..." hit off the
concert, and no one was sitting down. EVERYONE was standing on their
chairs, dancing, clapping, screaming, and even crying. Me, i was just
shaking. Here they are right before us, and all i could pay attention is
to ....Sporty. Goddess of all, and just seeing her perform and dance live
was the highlight of my summer, my life!

Everything was just perfect, i love everything, and i loved how they changed
so quickly. The best part....VIVA FOREVER. Thats our song, my best friend
and me. YUP, we love that song, and when they performed it with all wearing
white i just dont know how to put it but..LOVELY. I felt i was going to cry.
And as they reached the end, with MELANIE C and MEL B singing last, i felt
that mel c was singing right at me. Her voice reached my heart, and made me
froze and i felt as though i was going to faint. I jumped down my seat, and
pulled my best friend, and looked at her, and said "happy birthday, i love
you" and hugged her. She really appreciated it, and she knows how important
that song means to us. BEST FRIENDS FOREVER.

As Mel C and Mel B hugged, was exactly when we hugged. IT touch my heart
so deeply, i finally got to see my favorite spice girl sing my favorite
song. From there I was completely happy, and nothing could ruin my mood.

AS the concert came to a closure, i looked back one more time as the
spaceship started to leave, and saw Mel C for the last time live that
night, and said, "Thank you, you brought me happiness" and looked at my
friend and smiled. Even though Mel C couldnt see me that far, i believe
she carries a piece of all her fans in her heart. THe concert is over, but
the memories never disappear, for I finally got the chance to see them
live, and a moment i'll never forget....viva forever the spice girls
