Melanie Chisholm - The answer

The Spice Girls.  They appeared in our lives so suddenly and now it seems
almost impossible to think of a world without a Baby, Scary, Posh, Ginger
and of course a Sporty spice.  Challenge yourself - can you think back to
a life without them ?  Scary isn't it? I myself accepted this challenge
and struggled.

Of course they brought a lot of change with them and the world began to
change for the better in my opinion.  Females seemed to feel more powerful
now that there was a music group who dared to flaunt their "Girl Power." I
myself began to see things in a new light. But of course the true light
that came into my life was that of Melanie Chisholm.

This girl was different from the rest.  No short skirts and high heels for
her - no she took her fame on board in trackies, trainers and a tattoo.
Different? Yes. Bold? Yes.  So bold and different that many men immediately
thought - "I'd never go out with her in a million years."  Even women made
cruel comments like - "she looks like a man." I heard the comments as I'm
sure many of you did.  It made me think - "hey I dress and act like her -
does this mean no one will date me?"

From then on I set out to convert those who thought badly of a girl who
chose to be her and not some fake image the world wanted to see. She was an
inspiration to me and became a hero and idol in my eyes and that will never
change.  But the rest of the world don't see that special quality she
possesses - a quality that makes her true fans love her dearly.  Her quality
is that she makes every single person feel special and included in what she
does and says.  And that is what I as a fan hold onto.

She's fit, funny, sweet and has a heart of gold. To those who don't see this,
just look into her eyes, they are windows to her soul.  She's changed my life
in a way no one else has even got close to.  The world doesn't realise just
how lucky they are to have someone like her out there "spicing" up our lives
and spreading the valuable "Girl Power" message.  She's a person that will
never forget the true meanings of friendship and will be there for her mates
through the thick and thin and through the good times and the bad.

Her voice is like the magic in every song and if I could describe the message
it sends to me I would but it is too hard to put into words.  So you yourself
listen and think about the message it sends to you.  I know I'll always be a
fan and when I finally get to meet her in person that'll be a memory I'll
treasure forever.

To all the anti Spice and Melanie fans - I feel for you I really do.  You're
missing out on something that you will never ever be able to find again.
You're missing out on a person with more intellect than you'll ever possess
and all because you won't open your tiny little narrow minds to see and take
in the miracle that is Melanie Chisholm.
