Melanie is more than just an awesome pop singer to me. To me, she is my
escape (as his the Spice Girls music.
I have been manic depressive since i was a young child and as the years
went by, my condition grew worse. I truly believe that if it wasn't for
Spice Girls , Melanie in particuler, I wouldn't be in the state i am in
at this very moment. Now, I know I'm only 14, and not some adult that has
a lovely story to tell about Melanie, but all I can say is that I have
the utmost respect for Ms. Chisholm. I know this sounds obsessive
(something of which I am not) but Melanie has grown into a character in
my life, very similar to a sister. 
I know I have never met her, and that I don't know her personally, but
she has lifted my spirits through her words, music, and just by being
good 'ol Melanie.
Just incase your wondering, I am not gay, I have a sort of "sisterly"
love for Melanie, not a sexual desire! : )

Melanie......if by any means you ever should read this letter.....I just
want you to know that you are the most wonderful person, and I couldn't
have made as far as I have without you. I will always love you. You are
truly an awesome person! Thank you soooooo much!
