Big hey to all the visitors of this great site! My name is Peter, I'm 19
and I live in Croatia, Europe. I really couldn't resist  to share my
thoughts about Melanie with other people. First of all I have to say, I'm
pretty normal kind of guy, I study law on university, live pretty ordinary
life. But, I have one weakness. And that weakness is Melanie Chisholm.
 In fact, it's not nice to call it weakness, but it's just that it is a
weakness, 'cause I don't think I'll ever get to a chance to meet her. And
that's the thing I want the most...

But, I should start from the beginning. I don't quite remember when was
the first time I really noticed her, but I remember that in "Wannabe"
video I looked mostly at Victoria and Mel B, I think I haven't even
noticed her the first time I saw that video. It wasn't in "Say you'll be
there" either, nor in "2 become1". Now when I think harder, I think it was
the interview that Spice Girls gave for our television at the end of 97,
that made me notice
 Melanie. I didn't know much about her then (in fact, I knew nothing) and,
 when I saw that interview, and when I saw her talking, well... I was 
amazed. I mean, the things she said, the way she talked , her 
appearance...it all made me realize a lot about her. She seemed so 
modest and simple, but also intelligent and honest. Also, that was the
first time I noticed how good-looking she is. But, the more important, I
became aware of her inner beauty. I taped that interview and watched it
over and over. I really couldn't beleive how normal she looked, the fame
hasn't changed her a bit. After that interview I became very interested in
her, realizing more how unbeleivably great she is with every day. With
every new TV appearance she ment more to me, 'cause it became clear that
she's my ideal woman, the one with whom I would spend the rest of my life.
And everything, literally everything about her, still says so. And I don't
care if every other person around me thinks she's ugly, dumb, or
tomboyish, she's in fact perfect to me and I'll search for "something of
Melanie" in every woman I meet.

In my opinion, the fact why no one haven't really payed enough attention
on Melanie in the beginning of  Spice Girls (they still don't) was because
the best things about her are hidden inside of her and you can't become
aware of them on the first glance. But once you open your eyes a little
wider you realize what an incredible person Melanie Chisholm is. Of all
the megastars in the world today (and I don't mean only in showbusiness)
 she is the one the most resembling to us "the ordinary people". So, for
all young teenage girls (and not only girls) who seek for their
role-models in famous people, there's no one to be found who could beat
Melanie. So natural, so sweet, so honest, so special. So perfect... 

There'll always be a special place in my heart just for her....
