All I can say is OMG!!!

I got there at 4pm. I wanted to make sure I got
upfront. There were two lines. Under 21 and over 21.
There were alot of teenages in the under 21 line, but
only 5 in the over 21. I meet the other over 21 people
and they were cool(Hey Monique)!! These guys were the
best bunch of people I have met at a concert in a long
time. Probably because we ARE Melanie C fans. While
waiting in line, a press lady came out and handed out
2, and only 2, press photos of Melanie. I got one of
them and I will send it separately. We all took a walk
to the back and saw the band rehearsing, but we didn't
see Melanie.

When they finally let us in, I was the first on the
floor. I set up our camp dead center, right in front
of Melanie's mike. When she came out, OMG, she looked
great. I couldn't believe that we were less than 10'
from her. She wore a black tank top from the rock
group clash and army fatigue capri pants(oh and
trainers too). She really played to the crowd, which
never stopped screaming. I think is was really
overwhelmed by us. She called LA her second home and
that we were her FAVORITE!!!! 

I also think she was surprised that we knew so many of
the songs. She just kept smiling. There was one part
when she really set the crowd off. During the song
'Feel the Sun', there is a phase 'This angel is my
salvation'. When she sang that, she lifted her shirt
and showed her 'Angel' tattoo. Everyone went crazy.
She also did Anarchy in the UK in her set. She hadn't
done that in Canada. It was awesome and Steve Jones
from the Sex Pistol came on stage for it. I believe
she jumped aroung more in that set than in Goin Down
and Ga Ga combined. 

When she did the rocked up version of Wannabe, people
went crazy. So did the little 6-8 yr olds because that
was probably the only song they knew. For her encore,
she did Closer(it was beautiful) and an acoustical
version of Goin Down. It was awesome. I beat if she
had realized the single like that, the radio stations,
MTV and VH1 would be airing it in the USA. They would
not have noticed those two little words that nobody
but them cares about.

This was the best concert I have ever seen. I can't
wait until Melanie comes back in February. I will
definitely be there.
